My laps up for both days

Looks like Albin had H covered both days. Appears Sam Henry won Fprod and EProd on Saturday and then both classes again Sunday.

Spoke to Mark Weber. Harris had a trans problem and was running a stock spare. He and Sam had a good race going on Saturday and then it began to rain and the race was checkered early.

I guess Rick had more problems today with the spare and didn't finish. Mark and Futcher I guess had a spirited battle going and they got together coming onto the front straight and Mark ended up in the wall. Saw pictures and the front is pretty torn up and he lost the radiator. Hope this doesn't adversely affect the "Drive for 5-hundred"!

Now, everyone come to Hallett!

Thanks so much to Phil, Bud and all the workers for a GREAT weekend. Everything went super smooth, at least as far as I could tell.

The car has a few engineering issues but nothing too major. Thanks to all who helped with parts and advice especially Don Tucker, Chris Albin and Chuck Mathis. Although distinctly hourglass shaped my driveshaft still seems to be perfectly balanced. :)

Carbs may be in my future though. I did the math this morning and only 113 mph at the end of the front straight is not gonna cut it. Don't think the dog box and tuning will make that up but I'll try.

Anyway - it's great to be back in production - thanks again all!

Ditto!

I alway enjoy memphis... well, at least the race track. We had a good weekend and a little luck... My master plan of getting Don Tucker and the Rick's crew drunk and taking Rick's tranny apart with a hammer and set of pliers worked! I think they were on to me when I took them 50 pounds of weight to help with the cross. Honestly, I could feel Rick's pain having to run those stock ratios... He just couldn't come out of the slow corners as well as he needed...

My favorite race was with Don in EP on Saturday... Both of us on tires/cars that were going away fast. It turned into drift fest for me. My FP car started to handle like the rallycross car. I thought I had pretty good tires under me, but I later found a broken front sway bar end link which caused me to burn the rear tires down... Don finally made a little mistake in Grant's tomb and I was able to get by...

Sunday we repaired a broken collector with shim stock, hose clamps, and high temp silicone... A repair job that any prod guy would be proud of... I may need to dyno the broken collector, car ran pretty good!

Thanks Steven and Sam. I am happy that you 2 had a good experience. We received the observer's report earlier today and it was, in my opinion, very good. We had a couple of very minor things to improve but they are not a problem. Now, if we can get more driver's to show up...

Sam, next time I am going to spike your chesse dip
