In case you didn't see this from the race chair:

Hello, Everyone!

1. Gary Watson will be a the track(sat. sun.) with race fuel but ONLY ACCEPTS CASH OR CHECK - NO CREDIT CARDS.

2. Any driver wanting to participate in the Friday track sponsored open lapping should be encouraged to register at the PMP web site: http://www.pueblomotorsportspark.net

I'm not seeing a phone number or eMail to register for the test day. As we're tentative (due to likely rain) we'll just wait and sign up if conditions warrant.

See you there.

Did anyone get the stream to work?

Yes I was watching it for about 15 minutes before the race and watched the start until Eric retired with a broken intake cam gear.

The most I saw watching it was 7 people. The stream only worked for the FP race.

I spoke with Eric at the track. This weekend was a test. He's anticipating rolling it out next weekend for the Mid-O Majors with the availability of multiple cameras around the track.

A live stream would be super cool. I've looked into doing it with a cell phone or mifi. But I'm lazy.

Having not been there to see it in the flesh I don't know about the safety implications but the apex being out that far from the tower in 10 makes it a completely different corner. Why did they feel that necessary?

The apex and curb are where the professional track designer said to put them. He has hired by the city.

I can't say as to why something was done or wasn't done. But, moving the corner means your heavy loading is done on the asphalt as opposed to the concrete. I can recall that pretty much every weekend I went to Pueblo when I lived in CO, someone hooked on the exit, slid across and whacked the right side wall. Lot of damage to cars.

In the two events that I attended since the repave, I don't recall anyone doing that. Yes, there were some people that went off on the exit, but I think the speeds are considerably less and perhaps this keeps people from going back across.

That is exactly why the corner was redesigned.
Little Bill got the wall on Friday before the Invitational two years ago.
