SCCA H Production Hall of Fame - Inaugural Class of 2024

I agree with Craig. Raced against Randy and Ray a long time ago. Cat was after my time. Congrats. John McCue

I hope to see Jim Miller in there next year, 2nd only to Randy in championships won during the years that mattered, and a very innovative racer.

Jim was nominated but finished 11th out of 15 in the voting, so he wasn't one of the 5 finalists that the committee voted on.

Please feel free to re-nominate him this year and provide a nice write up on his accomplishments and contributions to the HP class. Thanks Rick!

Yes, I was surprised as well. There is no set criteria, but here's the process:

- Nomination window opens after the Runoffs and goes until the end of October

- To nominate, an email with the person's name and email address needs to be sent to [email protected] with a 2-3 paragraph write up on the person's accomplishments/contribution to the class. There are no restrictions/limitations to who or how many is on the final ballot. Personal anecdotes and relationships will also add color to the write up, and may get people to vote for someone they otherwise don't know well (or at all).

- Voting opens 11/1 and goes until 11/30. A link will be posted for the ballot on this site, Facebook, and SCCA.com. Any past or present SCCA member may vote for up to 3 people to be inducted. Each member/past member may only vote once. Duplicate entries will be deleted.

- A 5 person selection committee, made up of current and past, east coast and west coast, and novice and veteran HP racers takes the top 5 vote receivers and aligns on up to 3 of the finalists to induct.

When it gets closer to October, let me know if you need help with the nomination for Jim.
