"Low Cost" Smartphone track timing/"data logger" options

I figured I would pass long some Smartphone lap timer options that came up this last weekend while at MAM doing a BMW drivers school. Figured if you have a smartphone and don't have a data logger you may be interested in these options.

For iPhone you can use Harry's GPS LapTimer

For Android or Windows based phones you can get Racechrono
http://www.racechrono.com/

Both do GPS based lap timing with segments. They include sat view overlay of the track also. They support MPH, g-loads graphing and support for external high resolution Bluetooth GPS units.

I know there are a couple other options but I saw both of these in "action" this weekend and was impressed with both of them.

I've got aLapHD on my Android and have liked it from playing around. since I don't have a way to mount it in my car, I haven't used it on track, but I've driven around on the highway and played with it in the street car and it seems pretty neat. I was planning to buy/build a mount for it, but I just came across a deal on a used G2X so I talked the wife in to an early father's day gift. :)

I have been using TrackPro for the iPhone for 3 years. I like the ease of use and the speed by segment output to help analyze places to improve. The biggest thing is that you put it on the dasholder and hit the start button on the grid. Once you get to 20 mph or so, it redcords on its own--the only usage problem was the phone ringing as I was pulling into impound--glad the race was completed.
Cost is a little high for apps at $25 (not sure of current price), but way cheaper and easier than 'real' data acq.
The problems are getting the correct track map gps data---had trouble at Road America getting a truly accurate map, And, without comparative data it is difficult to know how far you are from the 'ideal' lap.
