New FP track record at La Junta Raceway, lowered by 1.338 seconds!
Paul Jensen with a time of 58.934 set on May 6th, 2018 was the final best time for the weekend.
91.9279 mph on the 1.5 mile course, set in a 1991 Mazda Miata.
I had lowered the record twice the day before. The od record was held by Jonathan McGrew (1:00.272) and had stood since 2007. It was Jonathan's only record and now this is my first record!

Riley broke another one of my old track records! MSR Cresson 1.7 mile. Should never have let him in the car. :roll:

Very sorry it happened. I did everything I could to prevent it. Hope the car isn't going to take long to fix.

Thanks Charlie, I know you tried, it was hard to diagnose what i was feeling but it definitely wasn't a tire going down, but i had decided to retire the car that lap just didn't slow down enough, then the broken sway bar popped the tire.

I haven't been able to even unload it yet, but that's happening tonight.
 
Just for future references, when I see smoke coming off the right rear tire and then it starts trowing chunks of rubber at me in left corners i'm going to call tire going down every time.
