I fail to see the logic for discouraging a nationwide rule set for a couple of 200TW classes. Literally, the rest of the world and the flourishing domestic sanctions use a 200TW rule . To gain future members , maybe consider moving to modern rules? What is the downside ? Enlighten me...

3 or more races for points at the National level, on sat and sunday . Way better than 2 rounds fri and 2 races over 2 days .

So, we drive 2-10 hrs to not race.

Because the name makes no sense . " Nationals" makes sense.

Our races are boring and pretty much over in 15 minutes. I suggest 4 races of 20 min per weekend . I 15 min practice/Qually. followed by 4 shorter races.

So. Is there any support for the change to "Nationals?" Any reason not to ?

IMHO the local BOD guys have brushed off most things . They dont return emails or calls . Send a letter . Ask for input from the club .

Latest update ." SCCA has zero interest in a nationwide ITEZ rule set" . IE any 200TW class. That continues the path to obsolescence. We'll continue to race the Champcar Camaro and the 2 C spec cars, and the HP VW when it fits our needs.
