Yup, I missed that in the OP. When the Runoffs traveled each year we'd usually hear the one two years from now at or about the current Runoffs. This didn't happen for '26 as we didn't hear about Road America for '26 until February 2025. This led folks to infer that discussions were still...

I'd not wager my own money that many of these tracks will welcome wheel-to-wheel competition, especially in the light of many existing tracks that are making moves toward minimizing it (and/or charging a shad-ton of money when they do -- VIR, Palmer, LRP). The tracks that are most profitable...
