Time to say goodbye to the Prod Forum

Nope. I'm not "busting hump" at all, I just pass through here a couple times a day...you know, like a forum member. Honestly, Bob, I don't give two shits if people come here (maybe one. But certainly not two). Seriously. I spend $15 a year on it, and put in zero effort, simply to keep the info...

Time to say goodbye to the Prod Forum

Well, given you showed up here yourself today, asked a question, and got two responses in less than two hours...what do you think? Quantity ain't quality.

Yes, you do misunderstand. What you just described is the #TYFYI (and "go ask your momma") process. But, at least you asked. We'll watch for the response in Fastrack.

    Sunshine is the Best Disinfectant

You misunderstand. CRB letter = #TYFYI. BoD rep support and action on their end = a better possibility. Fortunately, web page submissions are low-impact and no trees were killed in this process.

The letter submission system is a CRB function, not a BOD function. The BOD oversees the CRB. Your letter should have been directed at your BOD reps, with an agreement that they would pursue it further. Prediction: #TYFYI

New Prod Car Classifications - Turbo Delete LP?

Or we bring back G Prod and put all those new cars there, and let all the OBC have their not-really-vintage-racing place to play by themselves, unencumbered by newfangled technology. Oh wait, you want to include these new cars in HP to keep up the numbers? And you want to attract more new cars...

Time to say goodbye to the Prod Forum

As long as I stay on this side of the wall... No. Social media has long replaced forums. Societal AHDH and all that. Hell, even before that, how many times did someone come into a forum and, right under the FAQ thread, post the same question again? And when they got the one answer they wanted...

Time to say goodbye to the Prod Forum

This site is staying put, I assure you. I have control of the domain registry; it costs me $15/yr. My friend Ron Earp has control of the Xenforo database (same as his GT40S and our ImprovedTouring.com); so far he's not asked for much money but I may hit y'all up for some maintenance and...

Time to say goodbye to the Prod Forum

I didn't expect this to be a rejuvenation, simply a retention of historical info. It'll stick around as long as someone pays the domain fees.

    Atlanta majors

After all, FF is running with FC at the Runoffs...but I think it's the FA/FE2/P part that gave them pause with putting FF in there. Just a guess. Or maybe they needed those numbers for the Bonus Majors group? "FX"? What's that? ;)

    Atlanta majors

I loved those cars, it was the direction I wanted to go when I started racing in the 80s. But for money... You know what's interesting about them now? They are becoming some of the most sought-after historics racers and are commanding "interesting" prices. Full fields of them are showing up at...

    Atlanta majors

I think it's unfair (and untrue) to assert that the org deems them "not worthy". But you are correct that with the demise of F600 and FF getting moved to run with FC, that left FV with a too-small group and cars that could not be sorted into any other group. And I would asset that many in this...
