That's the direction I'm leaning at this point. I could go with a programable 123 distributor, but I've heard not-so-great things about them... plus the thought of going back to rotors and caps doesn't sit well.. The PE3 has lots of other abilities too that could be assets too.
Many thanks for the ideas. Car is carbeurated and likely to stay that way for now. At this point I'm not finding any of the HPV-1's available, and if I did it would be as old as mine and with Electromotive out of business, also unserviceable.
Other options are to source an Electomotive TEC...
