    RIP Sam Moore

Sad news from Les C… “It is with a very heavy heart that I have to inform everyone that Sam Moore has passed away, it occurred this past Sunday the 8th. He was just with us at the RunOffs and worked Tech as well. I am still somewhat in shock of the news as he has been a very close friend for...

    Starter DA system $250

Really nice condition Race Technology DL1-club, and DASH4PRO. I actually (much) prefer the RT software over the AiM stuff - but I simply don't use this system any longer. Please contact me at blamkin86 at hotmail

13x6 4x100 wheels on Craigslist in Denver

I'm not affiliated in any way, but there's some FP/HP wheels on Craigslist in Denver. https://denver.craigslist.org/wto/d/den ... 82886.html No idea if the owner would be willing to ship. I'm recovering from surgery and wouldn't be able to help for a few weeks.

    Understanding the new splitter rule(s)

Just looking to get people's thoughts on the new rule(s). What was the point of all the changes?

    Upcoming runoffs location(s)?

Has there been an official announcement on runoffs locations after MidOhio? I saw someone mention Indianapolis for 2017 - I'd be surprised if there were 3 east coast runoffs in a row but what do I know. Thanks, --Bill

    British UNF Fitting help

Folks, I need a long(er) 3/8 UNF fitting, male, to hook up a brake master. A 4AN fitting will screw down in the master, but I believe the cone at the bottom has the wrong taper. Anyone know where I can get UNF adapter fittings? I found something on McMaster but it goes to NPT which I think is...

    VW Master size masters...

I'm looking for an OEM master cylinder - I believe it may come from a VW of some sort shape or size. The mounting posts are spaced 60mm apart... The front and rear sections for the master are both approx 21mm in bore. One 10mm metric output per bore. Thanks, --Bill

Member Input: DOT radials weight break?

With the near 10 page discussion on the topic, I thought I'd throw out a poll on the DOT radial weight break. There have been a number of interesting points brought up in the other thread, both for and against: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16056 I am personally biased towards approving this change, as...

    Experience with other radial slicks?

Anyone ever try "other" non-Hoosier radial slicks? I'm asking because, I just confirmed with Jeff at Hoosier that they won't be selling any 80 compound 17" slicks. You have to go up to 18s or down to 15s to get 80s. Just wondering about Michelin, Avon, Pirelli, Yoko, etc... Also where to buy...

    Classing cars by weight

I'm just wondering if there's a "formula" SCCA uses to decide that two different cars are competitive based on their weights. For example, let's say you have two identical cars - same CG, wheels, aero, all of it exactly the same. The only difference is, Car A has 200RWHP while Car B has...

    Discussion: Bias/Radial poll results

What do you think of the poll results? Not being a statistician, I can say they are unscientific. However, that doesn't mean they're worthless. Fully 2/3 of the voters either run Radials or plan to. Additionally, at 50+ voters, I got more responses than I was expecting by about double. As...

    POLL: Radials or Bias

OK, this site is not the epicenter of SCCA production racing (tho some may say otherwise.) However, for the 20 people who are willing to say, please say whether you run Bias or Radial tires. IN ORDER FOR YOUR VOTE TO COUNT: You must post in the comments section the last (verifiable) time you...
