Summit Point Labor Day Double MARRS

I will be there - body damage repaired (again - have to refit the newly repainted LF fender and see how the fit is) and will be firing up the motor tomorrow or so, after a swap back to the old primary engine and a cam change. Hopefully a thorough fundamental re-set on the carbs will address some of the power problems I had been experiencing.

I'll say that I'm going to be there, but it seems I've said that about the last couple races. We've been chasing a bunch of problems in my car so hopefully it'll finally be ready to go.

Still time to come out and join in the fun. Currently no Legends cars entered. (I am guessing that Chris and Ryan are sharing the Scirocco)

Its trending upwards, that I know.

If we get Tony some slicks, we might be able to get him to play in H more often. :D

Cason Kirkland
Carolyn Bayer-Broring (great drive)
Al Seim
Mike MacQueen
Greg Nagy and Al Seim came together on last lap in 5, bad result for Greg who did not run the rest of the weekend. He did a hell of a job organizing the worker lunch, and the prod drivers did a nice job of cooking andserving lunch to about 150 workers, without who we can't play.
Also Saturday, Frank Jones broke a rod going into 10, which locked up the motor and left him sitting in the middleof the turn facing the wrong way. His eyes were about the size of Frisbees when we came through right behind him. Full course yellow for a few laps there.

AN exciting race due to rain which fell only on turn 8-9 during the pace laps. Good racing, and then on about lap 7 the sky opened up, the checker was thrown early on leader lap 8.
Monday 18 Lap feature

Cason Kirkland

Hot day, good track. Cason had his passenger door flap open on the pace lap and had to pit to get it bungeed shut. Drove hard after that, catching Mike twolaps from the end for 2nd and with Al Seim's Sirocco taking the win.
Carolyn was up to 2nd but her gearbox let her down. Pretty tough conditions all weekend, quite hot.
