A little information for anyone planning on running this event.
We have been informed by the track that a chicane must be used. They're allowing us to design it ourselves so that's good. The plan is to have it just as you enter the back straight and not slow anyone down very much. The chicane used by NASA last year was right before nascar 3 and we still saw higher speeds than Elkhart Lake. With this chicane everyone will have a chance to be on the Nascar part of the backstraight heading into turns 3/4 tri oval and into 1. I'd expect an EP car to be doing 150 coming into 1. Should be fun!
Slowest corner 40mph so a really good test for Daytona.
