Nice event up in Brainerd, MN put on by LOL. My first trip to this track and I'm glad I made the tow. Who knew this place is a motorsport mecca of the upper midwest? The track was hosting a Nascar regional, there was drag racing and SCCA, and more modifieds and sprint cars just down the road at the local circle track.
Torrential rain overnight (1.5", plus hail) left the paddock pretty flooded early Sunday, but the track, while wet for our group 1 8:00am qualifying, soon dried and the race at 11:15am was dry.
Sparsely populated for National cars unfortunately; there were only 4EP, 1FP, no HP and 1GTL to finish.

This track is pretty cool. It had sections that reminded me of the old IRP with it's mix of flat out sweepers then tighten down to a twisty rhythm section and a first gear hard left before you do it all again!
I'll be back!
