In a bulletin sent to all licensed drivers yesterday, it noted that the deadline for entry into the "free entry drawing" for the Majors on May 2/3 is this Friday, April 17.
If this is news to you, here's the deal - Each Majors weekend has a name drawn at the event of someone that gets their entry fee money back. To be eligible you need to be entered 14 days prior (the cutoff is actually anyone entered Friday 2 weeks prior). The pool of names to draw from will come from the list of entrants from that date and earlier.
Mr. Sam Henry won his entry back last weekend at Hallett.
This is a way to help us all have an idea of the car counts in advance of the weekends.
We'll have notifications going out each week of a deadline through email, but I'll also try to post here when I can as a reminder as well.
