Rims for EP 280Z

Generally you need something near a 0 offset for a Z car, which severely limits your options on sources.
I know Panasport makes wheels that will fit, I'm sure there are others though.

As for tires, the common options are Hoosier and Goodyear bias slicks.

All depends on how much you have to spend. On the low end a used set of 15x7 panasports will run you 500+ for a used set +0 to about +15 will work, moving up Spinworks will cost less (lots of the older RX7s also ran them in our offset)if you can find a used set ,but new ones go for around 200ea in any offset. then moving up the Volk TE37s used will bring you down from 1000+ but are hard to find in +0s, and then you can go custom and get anything you want but will cost 2k+ a set.
Wt wise Panos will go for about 15-16lbs ea. then the spinworks at 12-13ea followed by the Volks at 10-11ea and the customs for 9-10ea. From a cost standpoint the spinwoks are the best bang for the buck then the Panasports.
We have all 3 types for our car, took 2 years to find a set of the used Volks for a decent price in our offset, so they will be the hardest to find used, the spinworks show up on occasion and the Panasports are the most common (used on the Nissans and MGBs) so you can look at the the vintage and english forums also.
Good luck with the build! Look foward to seeing more of the Zs out there.

Just a tip. If your budget is limited buy the heavy wheels for now and only buy two sets at most. Then when you can afford light set just move the rains to the heavy set. I run the heavy wheels on my rains to try to reduce wheel spin and lock up. I think of it as getting the evil rotating mass to work for me for a change.

If you look at the panasports make sure you get the light weight models, the reg ones are 1-2lbs more, They are marked "for race purposes only"
Also the older circle racing wheels (what spinworks were called befor) are about 1/2 lb lighter.
Just be sure of the offset they should be "0" offset which equates to I think?? aprox 3 1/2 in back spacing? from hub to rim edege.
Stay away from any positive offsete grater than +15 or you will have to run a lot of spacing to clear the strut.
Also look on the toyota pages (club 4AG ect.) they have a lot of the older toyotas with the same bolt pattern (that is where we found our Volks)
Where will you be running region wise? looking for more nissan to run with (we run SEDIV)

I have 3 styles of 15x7 0 offset wheels to choose from all pretty lightwieght and nice looking, well built wheels, VTO wheels, we have the Classic 8, looks like the Panasport product, the Retro 4, looks like the Libres, BRE used to run, but better, and the Lemans, that thier recreaction was inspired by automotive icon Peter Brock, from his BRE 240Z racing days, all of them are $180 each, so a reasonalbe price for thier weight and quailty. I guarantee you will like them, if you purchase and don't like them, I ship them back on my dime, an offer I've never had to exercise, and I sell 500+ VTO wheels a year. Just go to my below linked website and check them out.
