I am beginning to put together sources for items I'll need for building a F/P Miata engine. I am looking for a good machine shop who can do machine work and who have experience on Miatas. Many of the shops I know don't have the ability to alien hone the block due to the small size of the journals. I also need a source form pistons. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
 
Harold you can reinvent the wheel or buy known and developed parts that work. I know you have my number. Let me know if I can help. I know a thing or two about FP Miata's.
 
Charlie is right on the money, if you are looking to build a nationally competitive fp miata you need to talk with Jesse. Or, you can try and reinvent the wheel...bad idea in my opinion. My advice is to talk with the clubs resident expert, you will be glad you did. If you don't, then this comes to mind :beat: :mrgreen:
