There are quite a few piston manufactures out there that will make a custom piston. Prices are simillar. Quoted time to manufacture is simillar.

What makes a good one or differentiates one manufacture from another? I need a set to build a new motor for a 11:1, 1.5L 3V Honda.
 
I've worked with both CP & Wiseco for my various Honda pistons, both with good success.
 
Wiseco and JE Pistons are both owned by Performance Motorsports, Inc. I have heard they are combining the Wiseco and JE catalogs and sharing productions.
 
Another option that I have used very successfully, is Ross Pistons. Surprisingly quick delivery on custom designs, add a week and they will make a set to match a sample. They offer 4 day turnaround on custom designs that they have done before, if you're really in a hurry. Prices are comparable to others, machining quality and materials seem excellent, minimum order is 4.
