Drum pump

I got a clean, steel, 30 gallon drum from my fuel supplier last week. So now I need a drum pump. I've looked at Grainger, Fastenal, etc. and see a variety of options. From the descriptions, it looks like there are ones specific to oil, hydraulic fluids, etc.

All I want to do is pump fuel to my 5 gallon jugs to take to the track. Anyone have a good, inexpensive suggestion?

I don't know of a cheap soultion. The gas will eat away at the innards of anything that isn't specifically designed for it.

You can use a drum cradle and a spigot to pour the gas into your jugs. No energy required, let gravity do the work!

I've used one looking a lot like the one at

for years without an issue. They are available from many suppliers at various prices, but look identical. Since most tracks now have credit card pumps on site, that is my approach in recent years.

I've used this type for years, simple and cheap. Put the drum on a stand so it's higher than the fuel jug and a couple pumps and it will gravity feed.
