For sale 1983 Mazda RX7
This professionally built racecar has been updated to all current SCCA specifications and race prepped by Dave Ott (local Denver RX7 expert). All fluids changed, 22 gallon fuel cell foam replaced, new high capacity fuel pump, new battery, new race prepped carburetor, fuel lines replaced/rerouted, front bearings replaced, new brake pads/rotors, disc brakes all around, removable steering wheel, new belts last year, shifter kit with new bushings, new rechargeable transponder. Engine runs excellent with 100-psi oil pressure, RB header, front splitter. The car can run in many different classes. Presently configured for SCCA ITA. Has also run in STL as configured. Could run Spec7 by changing from adjustable Tokico shocks to non adjustable Tokico shocks. The car also ran vintage in DP81. Could also run NASA or even chump car. This car ran first or second in every race run with no DNFs or mechanical issues. Total of 10 forged alloy wheels (Panasport style), 6 good Toyo tires and spare brake rotors. Invested over $3000 updating/upgrading this car in the last year. Needs nothing …ready to go. Has SCCA logbook and RMVR tech. Car has a title but is not street legal. Car is at Dave Ott’s shop 15 miles northeast of Denver. A great racecar for the price.
