Just look at the schedule for the upcoming Buttonwillow majors race - it is well thought out. Two sessions on Friday, etc with warm ups on Sunday; all done by 3:15pm on Sunday. Just a very agreeable schedule. Is Buttonwillow just that inexpensive to rent? ez

Is there any benefit to setting up a valve train (limited prep 1275) using solid spacers versus springs in between the rockers? Thoughts? ez

Have a Bugeye H Prod car that moves almost violently left to right under braking. The harder the braking the more violent the movement left to right. It was unsafe at Grattan. Toe is set at zero, uses the common big brake kit (MGB calipers, Spitfire rotors etc); uses Tilton 0.625 bore front M/C...

Can anyone point me to a write up on removing the camshaft from a 1275 engine while the engine is in the car? I saw it last night but now I can't find it. Has anyone tried this? The author used magnets to hold up the tappets while the cam was removed. Thoughts? Thanks EZ

We're racing at Mid-Ohio this weekend: car darts or hunts under heavy breaking. Brake M/C and calipers are new, brake pads (Hawk black) are not. We're running 1/16 static toe out. This is the stock MG Midget brake setup. Any thoughts? Thanks EZ
