We yellow LBCs may be a narrow demographic but there seems to be a lot of us. You have my endorsement. I which I could vote for you.

Gary,Brian, your area now has two people running for its Director. Jim Cantrell, Arizona Boarder Region location, has thrown his hat in the ring. With the opening of Attesa in February, SoPac is getting a brand new race track possibly replacing Fontana, which is being re-constructed into a half mile oval. Not much room in that infield for a roval style road course. If the idea to shake up the BOD is on the front burner, this is another opportunity to bring some new life to the organization.

I know that some of us also have family memberships and that maybe the spouse hasn't been as active over the past year and may not have the correct log-in or email for myscca.com. My wife was able to contact the SCCA and get it all squared away quickly and got her vote counted.

There is no question in my mind that Dayle would make a truly outstanding Director.....even though we have sometimes disagreed on issues.

He's smart, open minded and really knows how to listen........rare commodities these days. Dayle, It sounds like you may be a "disturber" candidate so I would suggest you talk to Peter Zekert for his thoughts on winding through the maze.

From the outside it looks like a very difficult journey. Good luck! Jay

Believe me....before I jumped into this pool, I talked with a few former directors about the vagaries of the position. People I know and trust. This included Peter. He suggested I run back in 2017. But a buddy of mine was running against Marcus and I deferred to him......I didn’t want to spLit the “anti-Marcus“ vote. We chatted back then as well as last week in WI.

Best of luck, Dayle. while we only know each other from this forum, I think you're a stand-up guy and I'd vote for you in a heartbeat if I was in your area.
