Post subject:  Datsun 200SX in FP?

Where would an ITB Datsun 200SX with the CA20 engine fit? Its not classed in Prod.

Looks like a 2valve 100hp 2.0 engine with some variant of crappy Nissan mid 80s Fuel Injection, Stick Axle, not sure if it has rear disks or not (doesn't matter in Prod) etc.

These 2.0L ITB cars are total tweeners in Prod. Highly doubtful they could ever achieve a lbs/hp ratio that would be competitive in FP, and be a heavy big-engine'd straight line warrior in HP that doesn't race well. A letter is the only way to really find out, but precedent shows that cars like that typically end up in FP.

(Queue someone making a comment about GP in 3, 2, ....)

Allow the VG30 swap and let if fit in EP. HAHA.

If they won't allow a 2.0 914 with 92hp in HP, I can't imagine the howls when a 102hp RWD Nissan gets stuck in HP. So I agree it probably fits in FP at 1900ish lbs or slightly less.

The head looks terrible just looking at the pictures.

CA20 is extremely doggy in ITB prepared in a legal fashion.
