If all you need is about half an inch of extra "flare", a real fender roller and some good old fashioned muscle will get you that, no problem.

The fronts are plastic. I looked at splitting the fender and separating it about an inch.

I just ordered these. I was looking at some Runoff pictures and saw what others had. Since the top of my fenders are white, I thought I'd see what these look like

They checked that the fenders covered the tires at the PIR Super tour. I was surprised.

These might work, but the ones I showed you, fit the fender pretty good. Also gluing them on the front fender adds some strength. I can post some pictures later.

The plumb bob was out at MidO to check that as well as air dams, bumpers, etc.

Thanks Ted. I'm still not sure about the ones I got. I need to order wheels to check it. The ones I got said 1" but it's 1/2" on the inside lip and 1/2" sticking out over the wheel for 1" total. The VTO wheels have 15mm offset or .6 inches out further. I don't have the engine & transmission back in the car to check it yet (hopefully tomorrow afternoon). I'm still going to keep the ones you got in mind if I end up not liking what I bought. Another thing I'm concerned about is, what happens if somebody side swipes me? I need to be able to replace it at the track or bend back. I might just carry plastic to tack on just in case something happens.

If you need to fix a fender or flare at the track, that is what a roll of racers tape is for. That stuff is great.....

I looked a bunch of plastic flares on-line, and was a little surprised at how well those fit. Most say they add 2 inch width, witch is to much.
