Does anyone have any experience with this lap simulation software? http://www.proracingsim.com/fastlapsimmainpage.htm

Seems WAY too cheap to be of any value......even just for directional qualitative change analysis.

Just send me a text and I will give you a call. Thanks, Jay c: 317-473-2124

Andrew is a good guy, knows his stuff and maybe this app works. MM
The phone apps are pretty good now. I just loaded a dyno app that so far is spot on.

Mike, your link appears to be in car data acquisition...……...my link is full car track simulation.....much, much different. For example with my link you could evaluated the lap time benefits of an extra 5 ft-lbs of engine torque at all rpms or a 1/2" lower CG.

I have no experience with this particular software. But based on experience using similar-price-range dyno simulation software I would not rule out its having value, especially in terms of predicting reasonable lap time deltas for things like 5 lb-ft of torque.

I'd doubt that it can very accurately predict the lap times of a modeled car on a modeled track, but I'd imagine that it can probably to a reasonable job of quantifying the impact of relatively small changes once you've tweaked the base state model to match reality.

I think you should try it and report back to us!
