Need some advice on front springs for a ChampCar TR6 we are running. Front springs are far too soft. We have looked at some of the available options (GoodParts, Revington, etc.) and they will not work for our application. Is someone willing to consult with an aspiring group of TR6 racers?

Rick

The TR4,5,6 has about a 50% motion ratio. So you wil need about a 500# spring for a wheel rate near 250, etc. Any more spring then that and the front end will deflect without tubes running to the core area. Add front sway bar for the rest of the roll control. IMHO.

OR, Find a spring rate calculation chart, measure the stocker and work form that. 250 -300# wheel rate should be plenty. Use as little as you can to do the job.
Look at Coleman's page for physical sizes/part #s and they have many in stock .
