Since I'm running a total loss ignition system "I've always been concerned about a low voltage condition with the running of my Electromotive Tech3r system.

Come to find out today after actually talking with(can you believe that) an Electromotive tech that the system will run effectively within a voltage range of 10.5-16.0 volts.

While I can certainly believe the high number I thought any thing under 12v and you'd be going down the crapper...apparently not so.

I.m always checking my battery voltage and have never dipped below around 12.4 after a session so I guess as long as I keep recharging my Ultima yellow top I'm good to go.

Tom:

What size yellow top are you using? Getting ready to buy one for my FP MGB.

Rick

Rick,

D51R

CA=575
CCA=450
AH=38
RC=66

I had the larger one but this saved me about 15# and seems to be doing the job.

You should know I've got no exotic fans , pumps or anything else attached to this.
Fuel pump, some dinky gauges and AIM solo is about it, in addition to what ever else the Electromotive ECU requires.
Hope this helps.
