Is anyone using a Schroeder type sway bar? The car I bought has one, but the installation was never completed.

Yes, in the rear of my GT3 car. What do you want to know. They are popular in Nascar and can be found on ebay used.

Would you know who would be a good source for bars and arms?

Joe:

I have some torsion bars and fabricated arms (front and rear) for an MGB that I bought from Todd Bunger who used to race a very competitive MGB in the SCCA. What are you looking for?

Rick

Schroeder is a good source for spline type swaybars front and rear...……...also steel or aluminum arms. The only negative is you need to be able to select and then calculate the WHEEL rate it creates. This means you must know the bar and control arm motion ratios to do this calculation. I think you can get them timed or not timed.

The biggest advantage is that you can just order off the shelf bars for testing and have them in a couple of days. Make sure they offer hollow bars for the front with varying wall thicknesses. Super cheap way to get the car balance exactly right...…….not kinda right.

Thanks, Jay. The bar that came in this car is a solid 1 1/16, so I knew it was way too heavy.

Depends on the arm length.

ogren is correct. pick an arm length that packages and adjust bar diameter and/or wall thickness to tune.
