Yes. No bruises or pain two days later. Car will take a while to rebuild.

I needed another set of tires for Sunday if I wanted to go fast as the track surface has become a bit hard on tires. My car went away bad!

I corded my fronts on Saturday that only had two sessions on them. They need to do something about the infield. It's as bad as Heartland Park was before the repave.

Glad you're ok. Sorry about your car. That was a hard hit.

I was referencing the old Heartland Park as well. Low grip and high wear. They'd better do something fast before word gets out. It screwed our racing program here for a long time.

Greg, you may be right. They actually did pick up the correct leader, I was in 3rd place at the time. When I saw them waving the leader by I just went along with them.

It still just baffles me that they didn't know who the leader was. We lost about 8 racing laps from plain old ignorance.

Ralf, I'm so sorry to see that. Your car looked like a handful from the stands. Glad you are okay but that concrete was really unforgiving.

My weekend ended before it started on Friday's test day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Czl-_BqfU6c Remote mic wasn't working.

Sorry Eric - I wondered why I didn't see you out there in the results.

Hope it's not too bad to fix.

Oof. :(
Looks like it was the "trunk" that took the brunt of a relatively straight hit, so hopefully nothing gnarly happened to the chassis.

Kudos to the safety guys for their quick response. the truck was on site ~40 seconds after impact and ~30 seconds after the car stopped. within a minute, another EV and whambulance were there as well.

I was impressed with how quickly they got there as well.

Dropped the car at the frame shop Monday morning and I am hoping to have it back early next week and still make the Sprints. Don't believe it got anything structural but the trunk is a mess. Thankful for the tire wall.
