Out West, Oregon region is still on for the end of the month. We would be happy to see enough to be banned.
Like Jim, I would hate to see what happens when a real crisis arrives.

I'm at VIR today and as far as the Region is concerned, the Majors is a go. They have a good field of cars today and the Enduro is running right now. Tonight at the social, we are have Pie are Square with dinner, everyone bring a pie, in honor of March 14th--3.14. We tried to find a square pie but no one in this area baked one. They were available in Atlanta but we've been on the road since March 4th. Don't believe it would last 10 days. We brought an apple cinnamon pie. Also bought a blueberry but it was victim of an assault and ended up drowning in vanilla ice cream.

Which Major....VIR or Road Atlanta (which the thread was started about)? Has Georgia enacted any new regulations on size of gatherings? Anything less than 500 makes the event a ‘no go’. It would be nice to know before we schlep 800 miles.

Just too many negatives to keep it.

I have serious doubts about VIR in April. Will keep you posted.

Headed home Monday since state of NC pulled plug on all public events over 100.

Support your local race shops. They will need it.

You’re a mover and shaker within ATL region.....will your region get its deposit back from the track? If not, has the NO offered support?

I’m worried about how the cancellation of these events will impact regions and their financial health. I know our region needs the funds from races to support our Solo and RallyX programs. No races, no coin for the treasury.

This is deeply uncharted territory. Any insight you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Things are going to get worse before they get better. I work for DOD as a civilian and got a call from my supervisor today that all leave has been canceled for the next 60 days and travel has been restricted to one hour from home. So unless those restrictions are lifted, I'm done for the season before it even started.
Hopefully qualification criteria changes for the Runoffs that still allows me to enter.

that's what i was asking/wondering. how will the runoffs be handled (if it even happens) with all the postponements/cancellations? can't see a way to jam a full season in a few months by the time this stuff settles down.
