Buttonwillow has moved up in the calendar from it's tradition end of April date. Looks like the air temp will be about 25-30° cooler than it typically is because of the date change. That would be good for track records, but I don't see that we've run this configuration/direction. So there should be track records in every class unless I mistaken about #25 CCW.

Prod group looks much better than it did at Fontana. 25 cars including BS in the group.
Huffaker may swap from FP to GTL during the weekend. Rumors of one more FP car to join the group. Lee Fleming had been entered in FP with his new Jesse Prather Motorsports Miata, but that's no longer the case. Good to see Mike Anderson, former FM national champion, running his EP BMW. John Faull is entered in HP. When my dad was racing in the late 70's, John had one of the fastest Sprites up in SF region. I haven't seen John or that car in probably 40 years! How is that possible?
Mike Lewis was entered in GTL at one point, but don't see his name now. With Lewis, Huffaker, Ermish and me that would've been 22 combined National Championships and a Hall of Fame!

My GTL debut was not what I had hoped for at Fontana. As of Saturday I was prepping the Midget with the HP motor for this weekend to run in GTL to try and get some finishes. As of yesterday at about 4pm I think I found the issue of why the ECU was not communicating to the dash (showing water temp and RPM). It's a learning process.

Mike Lewis said that they bit off more than they could chew, running the same car in both GT3 and GTL. They were planning on swapping engines, if the schedule was feasible, but I think that plan was scrapped. He also could run it UNR in GT3 and then with a 25mm SIR in GTL, but that would require a ton more testing and tuning, which I think might work in the future, but not right now.
