Looks like some great battles there.

I was hoping to go, and I'm a little faster than I was, but just still not top tier yet so I'm going to stay home and spend money on prep instead.

Next year I'll run the sprints, leave the car for a month, run the cat national - then come home and prep for the runoffs. Probably better plan anyway.

Have to get tuned up for next year, it's been a while since some of us ran up there. Looking forward to it!

I'm just hoping Jesse mixes up the weekends and accidently brings a vintage car to run in EP!

Not at all, looking forward to seeing that car's straight line and cornering suspension.

Years ago when the CRB combine Dp & Ep, a not to be named Dp driver knew he had the killer car. So all year long he never ran an entire lap at 100 % max. He made a point of running only 80 % of the track at max and then cooling it. It meant he lost some races he could have easily won. But, when it was time to let the horses out of the coral for the big show, he did. The result was a lead big enough to nurse the car to victory the last two laps when the water temp pegged.

Now, I'm not saying Jesse or any others would ever do this, but I would!

Well, at least my old box shares the exact same suspension design and geometry as Jesse's. Now, for the straight line part...

Jon - thanks for the thought. Deb also says I should go. Now that I think of it, Jesse too.

Got better at pueblo. Still a long way to go.

Seat time and setup work, which comes with seat time, are the #1 and #2 best things a person can do to make their car faster.

I haven't been to Road America since the 2013 Runoffs, and only recently have been getting the itch to drive there again, so I'm looking forward to it.
