"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night..."

So the original October 2018 date was rained out and the alternate December 2018 date was cancelled due to snow. Third time's a charm?

We will be holding our 14th annual Production Car Festival during the May 11-12, 2019 SARRC/MARRS double regional at VIR. We'll have the usual special trophies for EP, FP, HP and GTL. Special shirts for the podium finishers, and our renowned Saturday evening cookout/get together. Not sure yet whether the traditional Whoopie Pies are appropriate for springtime dining or not.

Looking forward to seeing many of you there. Another great opportunity to get some track time before October.

Rick

Would love to do this but it's the same weekend as the PittRace Majors.

Same story for me. Regardless, should be a good turn out with everyone looking for VIR track time.

Hmm.
One week after Blackhawk Majors.
One month before June Sprints.

If nothing goes boom its on my radar.

Trophies are being updated (new plaques with the new dates), and new t-shirt design for the podium shirts is almost done. Looking forward to seeing many of you at VIR in May.

The North Carolina Region is about to launch an ad to announce registration opening for the May Regional event (May 11-12). Registration will open early Thursday morning, 3/28. For this event, they are going to try to cap registration so we don't have to do a paddock space request/load-in plan, and to keep group sizes to something reasonable. The region is hoping to keep group sizes to 50 or less, but will adjust as needed.

I know many of you are focusing on the upcoming Majors in April, and others are planning on attending the Cumberland Classic Majors @ Pittsburgh International Race Complex that same weekend in May. But I am still hoping we can get a large group together for the Prod Fest at VIR so we can keep the tradition going.

Rick

Only 23 entries do far... Good fields for EP, FP, and HP, but we need a few more GTL cars to show up! I know many of you were at the track last week for the Majors, but I hope you can also join us on May 11-12 for the Prod Fest!

Making final food purchases for the cookout on Saturday night at VIR. Could use an additional "grill meister" if anyone is interested.
