Here we are in June and the racing season is in full swing for parts of the country. I know that some people were on the fence about coming west at the beginning of the season and now I'm checking to see if plans have firmed up. I'm hoping that some of the Runoffs regulars from the right side of the country are going to make it.

Please post some sort of "yes", "thinking about it" or "hell no, have you seen the price of gas" and your class (EP, FP, HP or GTL). Maybe if SCCA had some sort of fund that helped racers out that had to travel further while towing. They could call it a tow fund. Well at least Mazda and Honda help out in that regard.

Thanks in advance.
Brian

I'm planning on being there in GTL. Just a little worried about paddock space, since I need both my truck and trailer. Bad memories from 2014 that I wouldn't want to repeat.

EP bmw 328is.

90% yes.

Need a little more speed. Not to win but to avoid self-induced embarrassment. Matt is on a tear this year

If the car stays together thru the August high plains major, and I can stay on budget, I’m in.
Seems like budget has stopped me from making it the past few years. I’m mainly ok for now.

Nope.....can’t afford it after Indy last year.....gotta let the checkbook recharge. I may cruise out and work F&C.......but we’ll see.

HP no for me too. Honda is still in pieces. Spridget broke at the VIR Regional and I haven't even looked at it.

No tow fund for Honda this year and the contingency for non 2017 civics was dropped by a couple hundred!

I’m still on the fence. A few things need to align!

I'm still saying no, but my wife did make a comment about how I could possibly get home by Monday with the HP schedule....

Not a snowballs chance in hell. As if the 2500 mile drive from my shop to Sonoma wasn't already a major deterrent, the fact that I also changed jobs, relocated from San Antonio back to Columbus, currently have two mortgage payments, have pretty much zero vacation time now, and still have three kids under 20 months old, that all really hammered home the nails into that coffin.

Have fun. See y'all at VIR...
