Your driver in his car or your car?

EP is showing up in big bore, but with no times on scca.com/live . I'm guessing that this is a T&S mistake.

But it makes me wonder ... was there a plan to move EP into big bore at this event?

They ran with the rest of G6 (Prod/GTL) so I’m guessing it’s a T&S issue.

Much better weather today....downright chilly this morning.......Prod field just finished and Chima laid down a 36.9.....crazy fast. Eric did a 43.9 for the H pole. Moser was a no show so Halkias was the fast E car today.

The 25 minute race is scheduled for 3:25 this afternoon. Stay tuned.

Correction: Chima did a 1:37.9....which is still flying fast.

Moser tossed a rod through the front of his block yesterday, so he's done.

The race this afternoon had some neat drives.

EP: With Moser sidelined, Sam Halkias won from the E pole. Dave Savage was 2nd for quite a while and then pulled off with a few laps to go ( it he still finished 3rd). That left Wise to inherit 2nd.

FP: The top 6 cars in the field were F cars. Chima lead for the first 12 laps or so and then had some engine issue that forced him to retire. Campbell was never too far back and he ran the remaining laps for the win. Ruck came from waaaaay back to finish 0.3s back in 2nd. Walker, Bednarz and Haynes diced back and forth for several laps. Haynes retired leaving Walker to finish 3rd and Bednarz 4th.

HP: Señor Vickerman lead the whole race and finished 20s ahead of Reed. Red, Hileman and Stine had a nice battle going as they were nose to tail for the first 2/3 of the race. Stine moved into 3rd but late contact forced him out.

No GTL cars here this weekend.......when was the last time you could say that about a MidO weekend?

Race 2 tomorrow.....likely under rain......we’ll see what’s what.

Top tip: When starting on the outside pole of your run group, don't let your car pop out of gear about a second before the green flag flies, and then panic and just start ham-fisting for any gear you can possibly find.

Does anyone know if there were any on-track pics taken and who would have taken them?
Thanks,
Dave
