I actually e-mailed Eric, Deanna, and John Bower. I said "real" racers don't run the chicane @ turn 9. Deanna said they would let everybody know what configuration.

Write them and ask them to run the "standard" road coarse configuration, no chicane @ turn 9, and no short turn 11.

Turn 7 has a couple of options, like Brian had already posted, but that is minuscule compared to the other 2 turns.

There is another option for 7, go straight up the drag strip, instead of using the jag to the left.

They should run what ever config takes away some of the local advantage I would think...:) not that Joe hasn't run every config there is plus a few that don't exist I am sure..

Changing a corner or two should have little effect on the local advantage. There is a lot of the rest of the track to be mastered.
