I am working with a local shop to fab upgraded hubs - any interest? If we can order 6 hubs, the cost will be $435 each. If we order 12 hubs the cost drops to $330 each. Delivery about 2 months. No profit in this, just trying to get some of those garage queens back on track. Thanks.

Let me try to find the contact info for the gentlemen up in Canada who bought my Fiesta and I will pass it along.

You will be better off adapting to the Ford Tempo hubs, the hubs are cheap, and will be much stronger. Also you will use a better bearing.

The hub is basically a tube and a plate, the fiesta tube is to thin a wall the Tempo one is much better. Might be the same as the ford Escort.

You have to have the spindle modified, then you will need a custom axle shaft, to connect the fiesta inner CV joint to the Tempo outer CV joint.

Ideally you would convert to a Mazda 626 gearbox as well.

Ideally start with the mazda version of the transmission, then you can use a Qaufie diff.

To use the mazda trans, you will need the mazda inner CV joints. Might look into using the mazda 626 hub, bearing, and outer CV joint. When I did this the ford spindle was heavy, so I modified the fiesta spindle to use the ford bearing.

You might be able to modify the mazda spindle assembly to adapt to the fiesta, that might be easier.

If interested I can tell you all the steps to adapt the 5 speed trans, which will give 3 on track gears, (3, 4, and 5).
