What about Ted Heinritz? He raced a Fiesta for years. I even borrowed it once to get a finish in H.

I bought Ted's Fiesta a couple of years ago and am slowly transferring the good bits over to an updated chassis. I figure the process will be done in time for the next millennium.

Fiesta? What are you going to do for front wheel hubs and bearings? Also what will you do for a transmission, ford escort, Mazda 626? The limited slip diff is available for the Mazda 626 trans.

Even the parts to modify/update are now getting hard to find.

I updated mine to use tempo front hubs and bearing, much better. Also modified to use a ford escort trans, not a simple update.

But if you want some hints or info, I might still remember a few things that did work....

Hi, Ted.

Not really planning to race the car. Plans are that with some parts I have acquired and some European sources, I plan to build an E/Prepared Honda slayer. You ought to see some of the neat stuff available in UK. In AutoX I'm not as worried about front hubs. Cant afford to Club Race anymore but I still have to feed my addiction.

Russ.

I used to buy some stuff from BURTON POWER. They have some stuff for the Kent engine, and the fiesta engine is basically the same, well the crankshaft and the end covers are different, but the rest is the same. The fiesta head is slightly different, and is easier to crack if over heated.

The fiesta can be a fun little car, but at this point it is rather rare. But then I have 2 old fiat's, so I might not be a great source of advice?
