My chumper team ventilated a block last weekend at VIR in a 24......so looking for a replacement. Would come from a 89,90 or 91 Porsche 944S2...….not all cars in that range were 3.0L so it has to be an S2. If you have any leads please give me a call.

Thanks, Jay

I didn't ensure it was the S2 motor, but I called the place in Houston and he wanted $800 for a "rebuildable complete core motor" I told him I needed the block and crank, he said it was complete but a core. no indication of actual condition or why they're calling it a core.
If they ship to MO, then no warranty (because they're calling it a core).

I think $800 ask is ridiculous for a core motor, but it IS a Porsche........

Jay:

Sorry to hear about the mishap. My team was also at VIR in the TR6 (I could not make it this time). Hopefully our paths will cross at a future event.

Rick

Thanks everyone...…….we found one that was under our budget.

Keep the rubber side down. J
