I had a local fab shop make something very similar for my VW, wasn't terribly expensive IIRC.

Works well!

Mine were made from some 3" exhaust pipe, a little flat plate, and a small rib that looks like a tension bar from a chain link fence.. (i.e. scraps found in the corner and welded together). They work just fine.

i will most likely have to go that route, but i will do aluminum just like the originals....(should have never sold them with the ITA/EP first gen 7)....i have the black 3" ones that mazda sold after these...but to big for application on Vintage RX-2...still looking.,But like everything else these days...you have to make it...back in the day you could call Tilton/datsun comp/electramotive/bob sharp/dave weber and others...it was on the shelf!! Thanks
