Looking for a 510 for HP or possibly GTL for a friend. Prefer race ready if possible. He is located in Southeast. I haven't been on the site much lately so communication by text is probably the best.

Tom Wedel was selling one in GT3/GTL trim for the longest time. not sure if he sold it or not, or if it was destroyed in Harvey (his shop took a hit).

Tom told me his house took a hit, but not the shop. The car is OK, it's completely illegal for HP, but fine for GTL.
The car is for sale as parts and a roller.

Thanks for the update. Tom and I didn't get to talk much at the last race- rather busy day for me. Since his house is quite close to the shop, I thought I remembered both taking on water.

This isn't anybody's old car, it was a new build using a main hoop and logbook out of a wrecked 510

Thanks George for the referal.

The car is still for sale as described in that link.

The motor with carbs, intake, alt., starter, and ignition has been sold to a vintage B Sedan racer.

The rest of the car would be easy to make track ready for GTL with an L18 built from the start to be an SIR motor, as the custom header, exhaust, plumbing, etc. would already fit.

I've not browsed this site for awhile. Will contact the originator of this thread by the number above.
