Anybody have a Spridget steering column that has the U-joints in it so it's not a straight spear pointed at the driver? I don't trust my welding abilities to make one.
Thanks

no problem, I appreciate you looking.
I found another steering column in the garage yesterday. I might order 2 U-joints and try to tack one together and then find somebody to weld it for me.

Dont weld them , putting them together with some 3/32 grade 8 bolts works fine.

Sprites and Midgets, 1968 and newer, had collapsible steering columns, if that would work for you.

I have a late model column what I'm looking for is the ones with u-joints. I've ordered the u-joints and a spline column but it's not here yet. They are suppose to be delivered today depending on the weather and road conditions. I'm going to try what Rick suggested and drill them first before attempting to weld them.
