I'm bringing a white and orange Golf to VIR for sure.
I have tee times right before lunch on T-W-Th and Sat.

:D

I have a couple of golf balls in the motorhome that I found. I'll leave them in there for VIR.

I tried golf but being of Scottish ancestry, I found it impossible to leave a ball that I hit into the woods. Result was I usually ended up with 50 or 60 balls and it got dark before I reached the last hole. Once traded the found balls at Jekyll Island for green fees and golf club and cart rental.

Jim, Is it true that the Scottish like golf soooo much that they play with red balls in the winter?

I can bring mine.......I golf in three leagues a week and our seasons just ended.

I just took a quick look and there are a few courses around VIR. In the ‘kismet’ department, one of them is Goodyear Golf Club. The racing gods tell you that you have to try that course, right? 6000 yards from the whites and a 131 slope.....can’t be all bad.

Everyone knows that the Scottish play with blue balls in the winter. Those kilts don't offer much protection from the elements.

I like your optimism this year, Chris!

I haven't played a round since 2012. My displeasure over not being any good at it finally overtook the fun I had playing it.

I could definitely spend some time at the VIR shooting range though.

I thought I saw some Runoffs announcement that there was a course close by offering special rates...was I dreaming?
