The SCCA brass has approached me and asked if I was going to host a Prod/GTL party at the Runoffs. While I’m not racing this year, my rig is in a compound with a few prod and GTL racers. We decided to go for it. I’m envisioning something what we did at Indy.......you guys bring beer from all over the place and we host a cocktail (beertail?) party at our compound and take your money while you drink brews from all over the country. Kevin Ruck called it a Beerapollooza back then so why change a good thing?

So, like usual, ALL of our donations (after expenses) will go to the worker corps. Without those folks, we can’t play. We’ll charge $5 a head to get in and will start accepting donations immediately. I will be accepting donations via PayPal (hdf3.wtr80@gmail.com)....please use the ‘pay family or friends’ option so I don’t have to pay a fee.

With all the Prod/GTL folks attending (95 drivers so far), there’s no reason we can’t give a shit ton of money to our worker friends......RIGHT?

So who’s gonna donate first?

Date: Wednesday October, 9th.
Time: TBD
Where: WG9 - WG11...and the parking area behind our compound

Contact me offline (hdf3.wtr80@gmail.com) if you have any questions.

Dayle

West Coast Challenge. Who's going to match or beat my $50?

"Beer-Pot-Luck", but that works too. :D

This is always a good time, so spread the word. Would like to see as many Prod folks there as possible, especially some of our newer racers.

Thanks for doing this again, Dayle.

Tim gets credit for the first donation.......c’mon west coasters (and anyone else for that matter).....who’ll match his donation? I think he also challenged VW pilots and computer jocks too.

Of course, he cheated a little.....when I made the post, most Prod/GTL folks were fast asleep. It was 9:45 after all.

Thanks again Tim for kicking this off. Your donation is much appreciated. Who’s next?

Tim's donation matched! Dayle, thanks for managing this effort again. As the current host of the ProdFest, I can relate. Hopefully my work schedule will allow me to be there.

Thanks a bunch Rick......I have a brother in Durham (UNC fan) so I’ve visited the area quite a bit. Somebody can put you on their crew list for a chance to play hookie on Tuesday.

Anyone other west coasters, VW pilots or computer geeks wanna match Tim’s donation?

Dayle

Donation sent. Thanks for organizing Dayle.
Hope this is more than a brief break from a week long thrash this time around...

$50 matched. Running STL this year, but happy to support the workers. Thanks for getting this together. Are lowly STL drivers allowed at the party??
