As of today the latest statement in the SCCA File under Audited Financial Statements is the year 2017. Not really interested in the shorthand version released in the magazine.
Charlie, we couldn't disagree about this more and your comments must warm the reelection hopes of every current incompetent SCCA director. Your attitude; "As far as what happened in the past we need to learn from it and move on". We can't change it" is a big part of the problem because that is what directors count on the membership thinking and that's what all the directors parrot back year after year, "We are working on it, we have made the proper changes and next year will be better" but it never is, just more loses and the same excuses. We all get treated like fools because we act like one. I say no more, it's time to hold them accountable for the incompetents that has allowed this to go on for decades. The outstanding debt by SCCA enterprises can be changed, by restructuring the prices charged for their cars and services so it can start making a profit sufficient to repay its obligation to the membership. Lee Hill , SCCA BOD chairman, races a car manufactured by Scca enterprises and we all got to help pay for it , is the right? How much did SCCA contribute to your racing program last year? The runoffs make money for the club every year, why should that money be used to subsidize the pros racing programs that lose money EVERY year? These problems need to be directly blamed on the people responsible for them, the directors,,,,,,,, And the members for letting it happen.
