I was just talking to a buddy of mine, Mike King, and he said that he had heard that Jeff Peters died five or six months ago...anyone down in Texas have any info on that ?

That's really sad news, I had not heard that. My deepest condolences to his loved ones.

Jeff really helped me when I started racing back in 2003. I will always remember his for his support, great attitude and kindness.

I hope he's able to race Bug Eye's in heaven.

Very sad to hear about Jeff passing away. I met him at the first Runoffs at Heartland Park in 2008. Interesting guy for sure, and a fun free spirit to be around. We shared more than a few beers after our sessions that year, and we kept up thru emails, etc. for a good while after that.

RIP Jeff, you will not be forgotten.

Wow. I was just thinking about Jeff when I was basically in his backyard at MSRH a couple of weeks ago. 55 years old is too young. Does anyone know what happened?
