Picked this up on the Colorado Region Forum

This is just some information for those going to the Runoffs at Sonoma. Dave Caswell was there doing some testing Thursday. He was bitten 3 times by mosquitoes at the track. Take insect repellent! West Nile virus is there too. Pass this info along.

You guys apparently haven't been to Blackhawk Farms or Road America

The old "state bird" joke comes to mind.

At Nelson Ledges they are the size of sparrows (European, unladen).

Really?
Come down to Florida east coast. There's a large area around the Cape with very good fishing called Mosquito Lagoon.
It's not called that for nothing..
There are Bull Mosquitoes out there that can stand flat footed and mate with a turkey!

Put your quarter away. Our mosquitoes here in the south now have to get FAA clearance to take off and land!

And the left in DC has permission from the FAA to shoot them down.
