I agree Rick, never understood how we were gridded. Buddy in his Z got moved almost every session. Still running with 66 cars Saturday afternoon and 35 Spridgets Sunday was a hoot. I was afraid we would see full course yellows every session, but the safety crews did their job with local yellows. No lack of passing under the yellow however. Hard to stay with those full prep vintage Spridgets with their Webers, but great fun to out brake and out corner them with my limited prep HP Midget. All in all a great weekend until the last lap of the last race when my motor got tight and the oil temperature when to 280. Does VSCDA do trophies?

Took Max Herrera's old blue... old school, as run by Doc in G, then Max in F....in MidDiv.

Here's a link to my "report" over on MGE site...a couple others added notes and photos... (Blue #117 in photo is me)

Stan Mason has a super picture of the all Sprite race start from starter's stand... ask him...

John, I know you're still alive and kicking I can see your car ! What did you think of the event ? What engine set up were you using ? Still the LP1275 ? What gears ?

Bob Lembke, what trans were you using? Full prep 1275 ?

Bob Stream were you LP1275 ?

Rick Haynes how about you ? Full SCCA 1275 ? In a different car ? I do not see your blue car in the pictures I've seen,

Reading that Kent Prather built the engine for at least one of the "vintage fast guys" anyone know more about it ?

Inquiring mind wants to know !

And I think it's interesting that the Runoffs and the Prodfest both have 18 HP cars entered.

My dad built Colin Comer's and Scott Schmidt's engines. They finished 1-2 I believe. 1275's. Not limited prep.
