I can't believe that there are no F-prod cars signed up for COTA this weekend! Looks like Sargis is going to run H production this year, he's one of three signed up in H. 56 Spec Miatas signed up, still looking good for them.

Seems like a really small crowd for such a "big" track. I believe Sargis and son were building a new car, wonder if this is its debut?

I don't believe they were building a new car, just planning on running both of them.

FP had a decent field last year, so I think everyone took a "been there, not been thoroughly impressed with that, especially for the price" approach to the idea of doing it two years in a row.

I'll probably head over there on Saturday, just to hang out a little.

Part of me wants to go and grab some easy points, but the points battle is not really on anyone's radar anymore.
That, and my seat belts are out getting re-webbed, and I have my annual physical scheduled for tomorrow. Good luck to all that are going. Hopefully some of you Midwest and Southwest guys will make it out to one of the Colorado Majors this Summer (we have Three) one at Pueblo and two at High Plains. Both are great tracks with lots of elevation change. We are upping our game this year and have Special Prizes and Awards planned for each weekend in addition to our normal festivities.

It is curious that they have 287 total entries and 0 FP and GTL. 83 SRF and 56 SM along with 19 STL, many of which are SM double dippers. So more than half of the entries in those two classes. (Cue Dewey for a comment here...)
