I have an old ChaseCam PDR 100 Digital Recorder system purchased from another racer (several years ago). I started it up for the first time before going to Barber last August and it seemed to test out fine. However, when we got to the track we could not get the unit to show the menu so were not able to record anything. It will "start up" and show the software version, etc. on the LCD screen but then the screen goes blank.
Anyone ever have this problem? Does anyone know if there is someone who can repair these units?
I do have a backup from my Miata (same system) that seems to work fine, so I am OK for an upcoming race later this year. But I'd like to see if I can get the other unit fixed.
Yes, I know it is time to upgrade my camera system, but I was hoping to get a little more mileage out of this one. Help!
