It is the wheel hop at the drag strip that will start breaking stuff.

For the FD rx7 that has a PPF like the miata, the movement in the diff will cause it to want to "climb" and it will split the case.

If you avoid wheel hop and massive clutch slippage, then you will have a good time for a good cause without causing too much wear and tear.

EDIT: oh and drive line "shock" will want to break torsions too...

Took the Rospit we built for GRM to the dragstrip. Had run for quite a while in AX, hillclimbs, etc with high RPM launches. Sheared the axles first hit at the strip. That traction compound they use is not forgiving. It will break something.

Nothing broke :D and had fun.
Made about 6-7 passes
I missed my dogbox. Mazda 6 speed trans can't be rushed.
Last few were all about the same
